  1. Oil production data includes oil, tight oil, oil sands and NGLs (the liquid content of gas where this can be retrieved individually). The data excludes liquid fuels off their sources for instance biomass and derivatives of coal and gas.
    World oil production tables are available in both 1000 barrels daily and million tonnes.
