Looking to trade in the green space but don't know where to start? Many prefer to invest in an index or "basket" of stocks to maximize on a broader market or specific aspects of a market.

Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) trade on stock exchanges and can be bought and sold on Kapitall and other brokerages in the same manner as stocks. An ETF typically tries to mirror an index or sector by trading stocks, commodities and bonds representative of the underlying market.

This has a broad range of applications such as the Standard & Poor's 500 index, the economy of Thailand, or companies with high environmental ratings. This allows traders to quickly and easily assemble a low cost and diverse portfolio.

Here is a list of ETFs that seek positive investment results from companies, markets and indexes selected for their positive environmental, social and governance ("ESG") characteristics. Use this list as a starting point for your own analysis.

    • Travel does what good novelists also do to the life of everyday, placing it like a picture in a frame or a gem in its setting, so that the intrinsic qualities are made more clear. Travel does this with the very stuff that everyday life is made of, giving to it the sharp contour and meaning of art.

  51. Compared to other categories (or S&P 500 – no loads), how are these "sustainable" funds doing over longer periods of time – 3 years, 5 years or 10 years ? While I like GLW and some "sustainable" shares, some others of this category may be more creatures of fashion. Some of the "sustainable" industries tend to be more dependent on government grants rather than customers of the "real marketplace." Let's see how that works out in global "free markets" in the longer run for some of these more fashionable shares. Is that not the overall "sustainable" issue for investors ??? Best wishes.
