But to complicate the matter, meteorologists are tracking an epic super-storm that is slowly working its way east, threatening to bring even more chaos to the holiday season. Thanksgiving weekend is expected to be one of the biggest travel weekends of the year.
Many investors, whether they stay home or venture out, will be looking for clues about the future of e-commerce.
